The Art and Practice of Self-Care

MCLA's 2020 Day of Dialogue featured a workshop on The Art and Practice of Self-Care led by Destiny Rivera and Erica Barreto. The following resources were shared with workshop participants.

The 2020 presidential election is a contentious and divisive one for our entire nation, and it's impossible to predict how we will each respond in the days and weeks following November 3rd.

The Election 2020: Context and Commmunity Canvas course (MCLA login required) was created to facilitate MCLA's ability to come together as a community, support one another, and engage in dialogue (whatever the election outcome).

Students, staff, and faculty are welcome to browse the Modules, where you will find resources for engaging in difficult dialogues, processing our own emotions, and a schedule of in-person and virtual gathering spaces for the days and week(s) following the election. These spaces will be supported and facilitated by MCLA faculty and staff members.
