Using This Guide

children studyingThis guide is intended for MCLA students who are conducting Education research. Below is an overview of how this guide is set up and what kinds of information the different resources contain. Depending upon your area of research you may want to focus on some resources more than others.

left arrow Use the blue tabs on the left to navigate through the different research areas and topics available in this guide. When you click on a tab, you will notice that the different sections of the page will appear. You can either click on these to jump to a specific part of the page, or simply scroll down to look at all of the available resources.

Suggested Databases

Below is a list of databases I recommend for searching on this topic. If you need a refresher on how to search the databases, take a look at our tutorial. If you need help with searching, you can make an appointment with me and we can search together.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is another resource for finding research articles. Look on the right hand side of the screen for the "Check MCLA Full-Text" links that will bring you to the article in one of our databases. You can also look for the free PDFs listed on the right hand side.
